Bury Council is currently undertaking a consultation on the plans for 30 hours of free childcare for working parents of three and four year olds. If you are a parent, a childcare provider and/or an employer the Council want to hear from you.

The Government has committed to giving working parents of three and four year olds 30 hours of free childcare per week from September 2017. Bury is a “Early Implementer Innovator” so we we want to be ready to start in time for September 2016.

The surveys are now live at www.theburydirectory.co.uk/30hours – please click and select the appropriate link to give the Council your thoughts. If you would prefer to complete a paper copy, please call into your local Children’s Centre.

Please note the closing date is quite soon – 1 July 2016.
