The Bury 2018 Sports Awards are on their way – and residents are invited to submit their nominations by 31 July. The awards will honour volunteers, coaches, clubs, schools and athletes and are organised by Bury Sport and Physical Activity Service. The deadline for nominations is 31 July 2018.

The categories are:
Changing Lifestyle Recognition Award
Community Club of the Year
Coach of the Year
Disabled Sports Achiever of the Year
Sports Achiever of the Year
Unsung Hero Award
Volunteer of the Year
School Commitment to PE and Sport Award
‘I Will If You Will’ Sporting Female of the Year
